guest speaker bryan carpenter

During the May Detachment meeting the members we surprised with a special guest speaker. Bryan Carpenter is an Iraqi War veteran and Purple Heart recipient. On June 6 2006 the vehicle Bryan was driving struck and IED. Bryan suffered multiple injuries and had a long road of recovery ahead of him. During his visit he shared his story covering everything from his physical therapy to his battle with PTSD. His visit was both enlightening and motivating.
